Annie's Lane

The renowned Clare Valley is the home of Annie's Lane. Named after local legend Annie Wyman whose cart famously got bogged on a laneway at the turn of the twentieth century. Annie's Lane represents the finest vineyards in one of South Australia's great regions.

The Annie's Lane wines rely on regional varietal expression and are multiple trophy and gold medal winners at wine shows in Australia and across the globe.

The home of Annie's Lane is the heritage listed Quelltaler winery at the heart of Watervale, in the Clare Valley's south. Quelltaler is the regions oldest winery, dating back to 1863.

Annie's Lane features a core Clare Valley range of wines as well as a limited release range of ultra-premium wines released under the Copper Trail label.

Beringer Vineyards

Established in 1876 by Frederick and Jacob Beringer, Beringer Vineyards celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2001 and continues today with a tradition of winemaking excellence in the Napa Valley.  As our flagship California brand, Beringer Vineyards has emerged as a name synonymous with quality and excellence, and is known among connoisseurs for its highly acclaimed Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignons and Merlots.

Beringer has won two Wine Spectator "Wine of the Year" awards - the first in 1990 for the 1986 Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and the second in 1996, for the 1994 Private Reserve Chardonnay.  It is the only winery to have had both a red and white wine named "Wine of the Year" by this influential magazine, and enjoys the honor of historically having more wines placed on the publication's "Top 100" list.

Beringer also produces the company's largest selling product in the U.S., California White Zinfandel, which has enjoyed the largest dollar sales of any wine in U.S. food stores for over five years.

In 2000, Beringer completed the rollout of a new line of super-premium wines, Beringer Founders' Estate, which has quickly become one of the best-selling lines of super-premium wines in the U.S. In 2001, the winery introduced Stone Cellars by Beringer, a line of varietal wines priced at $6 to $8 a bottle.

Winemaster Ed Sbragia oversees the winemaking at Beringer Vineyards.  One of the most respected winemakers in California, Ed joined Beringer in 1976.

Black Opal

Black Opal wines are known for the same sort of iridescent fruit as the gemstone after which they're named.  Fruit from Australia's best growing regions is treated to hands-on winemaking techniques designed to bring out the bright facets and subtle glow that make each wine shine.  Depending on the source of the grapes, Chardonnay may be fermented cool for crisp flavors or fermented in barrel to add roundness and hints of vanilla.

The core of fruit for Black Opal Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet-Merlot comes from winery vineyards on the famed Limestone Coast, where red soils over limestone give the resulting wines juicy structure and flavor complexities well beyond their price competition.  Some red-wine lots are barrel fermented, a time-consuming Aussie winemaking technique that maximizes plush textures and excellent integration of oak character. Black Opal wines are deep in flavor and elegant on the palate - making them just right for pairing with food.

Campanile
Delle Venezie, Italy

85% of the grapes sourced for Campanile Pinot Grigio are sourced from the Friuli region, while the remaining 15% is sourced from Trentino. This Campanile wine is a blend primarily of Pinot Grigio grapes, but small amounts of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco were added to balance the structure and add creamy apple-vanilla flavors. Vinification in stainless steel tanks took place for 10 days at controlled temperatures. This cool fermentation was done in order to retain the varietal character of the Pinot Grigio grapes. The wine was matured for four months in stainless steel to retain freshness, balance, and good acidity in the finished wine.
